It was my absolute pleasure to capture the February 2020 elopement of Mya and Wendell. The circumstances were a little crazy... Mya contacted me a few days before the big day, desperately trying to find someone to capture their elopement ceremony that had come together quickly. I told her I had never photographed nuptials before, and had also just been diagnosed with an EBV/strep throat infection that left me with a sore throat, earache, and INCREDIBLY tired. (Don't share food/drinks with others, friends!). I, however, also didn't want Mya and Wendell to not have pictures of such an important moment in their lives, so I was willing to "rally" if she and Wendell were willing to take a risk on me. They were willing to take the risk, so rally, I did! I rolled out of bed an hour before their ceremony, and was met by a stunning bride, a joyful groom, and the abounding love of a few close friends on a beautiful sunny afternoon at the American Tobacco Campus in Durham.
Here are a few of my favorites from their big day!
